With the evolution of the global auto industry, making significant strides towards sustainable development, Toyota, has officially announced the launch of the latest electric car (SUV) on March 11, 2025 (March 12 in Central Europe). 

Recently, Toyota has officially teased a forthcoming EV, confirming it is set to become a manufacturing model. The teaser image reveals a refined fastback design, muscular back haunches, and sculpted front fenders, indicating a powerful approach. 

Toyota ensures versatility, and durability, alongside “elevated driving dynamics,” indicating a well-balanced package that offers an improved overall performance.

Toyota has yet to officially reveal the crossover’s official name. However, several leaks suggested that it is likely to drop the bZ branding. A transition to more traditional naming would indicate a new direction for Toyota’s EV strategy. 

Expected specs

Further reports suggested that the concept measured 4.54 meters (178.7 inches) in length and 1.56 meters (61.4 inches) in height, reducing it and less than the bZ4X. However, other details, including power figures and battery capabilities are yet to be confirmed by the company ahead of its launch.

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser EV, a smaller SUV, offers 49 kWh and 61 kWh packs, suggesting a possible benchmark for the latest model.
