Univershuffle is a fresh and unique app designed for music lovers who enjoy discovering songs without AI or algorithm involvement. Using the vast Apple Music catalogue, it randomly shuffles through tracks, offering an adventurous way to uncover hidden gems.

The app is free to use, connecting your Apple Music account lets you listen to full tracks. Without it, you’re limited to 30-second previews. However, Univershuffle debuted on the App Store this week and is compatible with iOS 17, macOS 15, and later devices.

Univershuffle features

Once linked to Apple Music, users can easily shuffle tracks across genres or exclude ones they don’t prefer. If you like a song, adding it to a playlist or your music library with quick buttons is easy.

The app even includes a translation feature powered by Apple’s Translate API for song titles in other languages.

Other notable features include a customisable button for quick saving albums or playlists, iCloud sync across all Apple devices, interactive widgets for your home screen along with Siri and Apple shortcuts to support hands-free control.

Univershuffle pricing and premium options

While the app is free to explore, ads appear after listening to 10 songs. To enjoy an ad-free experience, users can opt for Univershuffle Premium at a one-time fee of $5.

For ongoing support, subscriptions start at $1.49/month, unlocking premium features while contributing to the app’s development.

Univershuffle availability

Univershuffle is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro users.
