Vivo expands storage for Y200 5G, cuts prices on Y27, T2

Vivo has introduced a new storage variant for the Vivo Y200 5G, initially launched in India in October 2023. The smartphone, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, now offers an 8GB + 256GB configuration, priced at INR 23,999. 

Additionally, Vivo has announced a price cut for two other models, the Vivo Y27 4G and the Vivo T2 5G, launched in India in July and April 2023, respectively.

Customers of SBI, IDFC First, Bank of Baroda, DBS Bank, Federal Bank, and IndusInd Bank can benefit from an instant cashback of up to INR 2,000 when purchasing the new storage variant of the Vivo Y200 5G. The handset also continues to be available in the 8GB + 128GB option at INR 21,999, featuring Desert Gold and Jungle Green colour choices, according to Gadgets360.

The Vivo Y200 5G boasts a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Running on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13, it houses a 4,800mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support and carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

In addition to the Vivo Y200 5G, Vivo has adjusted the pricing of other models. The 6GB + 128GB variant of the Vivo Y27 4G is now available at a reduced price of INR 11,999, with potential cashback of up to INR 1,000 for customers of SBI, Yes Bank, IDFC First Bank, Bank of Baroda, DBS Bank, Federal Bank, and IndusInd Bank.

The Vivo T2 5G, offered in Burgundy Black and Garden Green, now has its 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants priced at INR 15,999 and INR 17,999, respectively, effective from February 1. The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, a 6.38-inch AMOLED display, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
