Vivo, a Chinese tech company, is set to release its new smartphone — Vivo Y58 5G — on June 20 in India. The company confirmed the launch through a media invite on Monday.

The forthcoming Vivo Y series handset will be available in two colour options — Aurora (black) and Qingshan (blue). It’s likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate display and boasts a 6,000 mAh battery.

The smartphone was released in China at an initial price of CNY 1,199 (approximately INR 13,000) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage space model.

Vivo Y58 5G specifications

The Vivo Y58 5G is expected to feature a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1,024nits peak brightness. It’s teased to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The handset is likely to come with Extended RAM sport for utilising unused storage as RAM.

For optics, the Vivo Y58 5G is teased to boast a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP shooter. It could pack an 8MP front camera.

The smartphone is expected to support IP64 rated built for dust and water resistance. It will likely have128GB of onboard storage space that can be extended up to 1TB.

The Vivo Y58 5G is teased to house a 6,000mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging. It could measure 7.99mm in thickness and weigh 199 grams. Moreover, the device is expected to feature dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication.
