Pak Suzuki Motor Company has officially stopped Wagon R bookings permanently, effective March 11. This decision follows months of speculation after the company had already suspended bookings for the top variant of the popular hatchback.

The Suzuki Wagon R was launched in 2014, initially offering three variants: VX, VXR, and VXL. Over the years, the VX variant was discontinued, and an AGS variant with an automated gear shift and airbag was introduced in 2020.

Moreover, prices have significantly increased, with the most recent rates being Rs3,214,000 for the VXR, Rs3,412,000 for the VXL, and Rs3,741,000 for the AGS model.

Despite its initial popularity, Wagon R sales have dropped in recent months. Between July 2024 and February 2025, only 1,608 units were sold, compared to 2,285 units in the same period last year.

Pak Suzuki’s decision to end Wagon R bookings comes as its other models show better performance. In the same eight-month period, Suzuki Swift recorded 5,295 units sold, Suzuki Cultus sold 1,887 units, and the compact Suzuki Alto remained the company’s best-seller with 28,194 units sold.
