WhatsApp has launched the latest feature in its beta version, allowing users to create and share events in one-on-one chats. This significant update improves Meta-owned WhatsApp’s functionality, reducing the need to use third-party apps to manage personal meetings, and more.

This feature in the WhatsApp beta version 2.25.3.6 for Android and version 25.2.10.73 for iOS, enabled scheduling and managing events within private conversations.

Previously, this functionality was under development, but it had now been introduced to a few beta testers, according to the WABetaInfo. Earlier, the feature rolled out to group chats, but it has been available in individual conversations.

In addition, it has also received an event creation feature within private chats, with camera, gallery, and document sharing options.

Users are required to enter specific details including name, date, time, location, and more to generate a WhatsApp video and voice call link directly within the chat.

This feature integrates seamlessly with the app’s existing communication tools, offering camera, gallery, and document-sharing options for event-related content.

For beta users already enrolled in WhatsApp’s testing program on Android or iOS. However, WhatsApp has yet to announce the timeline for its public launch, though a wider launch is expected in the near future.
