WhatsApp is gearing up to launch a new feature for users of the WhatsApp Business app, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into their accounts.

According to WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned WhatsApp will soon allow businesses to utilise AI to manage customer messages during times when human teams are unavailable. This feature aims to ensure uninterrupted customer support, enhancing the overall user experience.

When a business opts for this AI-centric service, customers will receive a notification in the chat. It informs users that they are interacting with an AI system, maintaining trust with their customers, fostering stronger relationships and promoting growth in their entrepreneurial ventures.

The AI-powered feature delivers precise responses to queries and efficiently guides customers through the purchasing process.

It’s important to note that this latest feature addresses a significant gap previously experienced by many businesses using the WhatsApp Business app. In the past, users were unable to manage their WhatsApp accounts directly via the mobile application.

With this update, businesses can now seamlessly access and manage their accounts via both the WhatsApp Business app and the business platform, simply by scanning a Quick Response (QR) code.

To facilitate this new feature, Meta is providing a secure service for managing all one-on-one chats, building a secure ecosystem, and maintaining high standards of data protection and trust.
