Kinds of messages you can pin on WhatsApp
You can highlight a specific message in both individual and group chats and find it at the top of the chat. You can pin any type of message for up to 30 days, no matter if they are based on texts, polls, emojis, pictures, or videos.
Note: You can only pin one chat at a time. This handy feature is great for finding and remembering important info like addresses, dates, or phone numbers in your conversations.
Pin message feature for group chats
In WhatsApp groups, admins can control whether only they or participants can pin messages. Users always have the option to unpin messages whenever they like.
WhatsApp's competitors, including Telegram and iMessage, already have the feature to pin messages among their in-app offerings.
