WhatsApp has announced a significant update to its popular Status feature, allowing users to share photos, videos, and text that disappear after 24 hours.

The new features will add enhancements and fun to the way users express themselves and show their creativity through music, photos, and interactive stickers.

WhatsApp Status is used by millions of users every day and is an instant way of sharing your everyday life with friends and family.

These new features aim to add even more personality to the way people post in WhatsApp. The company stated that it will begin rolling out the features (very) soon, and they will be accessible to everyone over the coming months.

Here’s what’s new in WhatsApp Status:

Layout: Now you can add a collage by choosing up to six pictures in a single post. WhatsApp is offering an editing tool where you can arrange how you want to post them. The app is allowing members to be more visual and creative in their updates.

More with Music: If you hear a song you love, you can share that song as a status right away. Or turn that song into a music sticker and attach it to another post – like a selfie – to add a musical twist.

Photo Stickers: This feature allows you to turn any photo into a sticker. You can edit its size and shape before adding it to your status update.

Add yours Sticker: Post a photo with a prompt and invite your friends to join in. They can respond to your idea and share it on their own status, helping start fun and engaging conversations.
