WhatsApp is reportedly preparing to launch the latest feature for new voice group chat actions, which are currently available to a few beta testers. This significant update offers a more convenient way to start a voice chat in groups. With this update, users will receive a silent push notification instead of a ringing notification when a voice chat starts.

In addition, WhatsApp has integrated a floating action button above the message send button to improve its visibility to all the group members. A few beta testers can trigger the voice chat by simply scrolling up in a group conversation that automatically initiates the chat, streamlining the procedure, and offering an intuitive way to start live conversations.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is diversifying the voice chat availability to more groups, including smaller ones with less than two members, which was earlier limited to larger groups with more than 32 participants. While users can still notify all the group members while starting a voice chat, it will automatically end after 60 minutes if nobody joins, offering a clean interface.

WhatsApp is introducing new voice group chat actions to a broad range of audiences. However, beta testers have already started to receive the updates through the WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store, offering an improved voice chat experience and more dynamic and easier-to-manage group conversations.
