Three young innovative minds from Karachi have bagged a grounbreaking milestone at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) 2025 Sindh Nationals, qualifying for a spot in the global finals in Singapore this November.
Who are Karachi girls that won World Robotics Olympiad 2025 Sindh Nationals?
Named PowerPuff Innovators, the winning female trio comprises Emaan Zehra, Anaya Anas, and Ayra Rizvi. The most jaw-dropping side of the story is that all three happen to be aged between 12 and 13, in the same Grade VIII at Haque Academy.
Securing the Girls in STEM Award, the Karachi girls competed in the Future Innovators Junior category and secured first place in Sindh.
How many teams participated in World Robotics Olympiad 2025 Sindh Nationals?
On a national level, the PowerPuff Innovators finished as the first runner-up among 51 teams that participated in WRO 2025 Sindh Nationals from Punjab and Sindh.
The winning project features an AI-powered financial literacy and management robot, equipped with a smart camera system to assist users in making informed purchasing decisions.
Being the only team representing Pakistan, the three students will compete at the WRO Global Finals 2025 with participants coming from around the world.

This year's theme, “The Future of Robots,” requires participants to create robotic solutions for real-world issues and showcase the importance of technology in addressing everyday challenges.
