YouTube Music web version to let users play previously played titles

As it's not on par with music streaming giants like Spotify and Apple Music, there are indications looming on the internet that YouTube Music is gearing up to compete and rise beyond its competitors. 

One of the bouts where YouTube Music faces debacle is the facility of replay — of songs and podcasts where you left off from — on the web version of the app.

Citing source, 9to5Google reported that web version of YouTube Music would now offer the ability to let you play the last song you played. Not only this, the platform will also keep songs you previously played saved in the Up Next queue, no matter if they belong to a certain playlist or album.

The downside is the absence — unlike YouTube Music on Android — of the capability to resume a song from where you exactly left it previously. It was also reported that the same would be applies to playing podcasts on the platform.

If the feature is to be offered with all the integral aspects of how it works on the Android version, it would be more helpful in ordinary cases as well as those involving users more prone to listening to lengthy podcasts.
