YouTube, the video-sharing platform from Google, has been tipped to be working to redesign its miniplayer.

As of now, the YouTube Mini player appears at the bottom bar of the app whereas, the video is present at the left of the app with the name written, followed by the channel and the play and close buttons are present on the right side.

However, the Miniplayer will serve as a picture-in-picture (PiP) window with the redesign, allowing you to browse YouTube while watching a video.

Moreover, you can also resize the Miniplayer video in a way that it covers the entire width of the screen as well as drag the rectangle-like picture-in-picture to move it and tap the ‘X’ button to close the video.

Notably, this picture-in-picture mini player has not been widely rolled out to YouTube for Android users yet.
