Amazon has increased the subscription prices of its Music Unlimited service in the United States (US), Canada, and the United Kingdom (UK).

“In order to bring you even more content and new features, we’re updating the price of select Amazon Music Unlimited plans,” the company stated.

Notably, Amazon last increased the price of its music streaming subscriptions in August 2023.

Amazon Music Unlimited new prices

Here's a breakdown of the new prices of Amazon Music Unlimited:

  • Prime member plan: $10.99 per month (up from $9.99)
  • Non-Prime plan: $11.99 per month (up from $10.99)
  • Unlimited family plan: $19.99 per month (up from $16.99)

The above-mentioned changes took effect on January 29, 2025, for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the updated pricing on their next renewal, likely after March 5, 2025.

It should be noted that Amazon Music Unlimited's non-Prime plan is now priced similarly to Spotify's individual subscription, with both being more expensive than those of YouTube Music and Apple Music priced at $10.99.

However, Amazon still offers a $1 discount for Prime members.

Moreover, Amazon Music Unlimited also added features similar to Spotify in recent months, including one free audiobook each month and a Wrapped-like yearly recap.
