Google, the Alphabet-owned company, has been integrating a spate of some features in Android 10 and Android 11 that are developed to widen its user base with the company's hardware and software ecosystem.
Similarly, the top-of-the-line Android 14 included an app called Personal Safety that is available on several Android versions of smartphone brands. Recently, that app announced to withdraw support for Android versions 10 and 11.
The Personal Safety app was initially launched as a Pixel Exclusive feature, possessing the capability of performing multiple tasks efficiently, including dialling emergency contacts in case of an accident.
However, reports further suggested the Alphabet-owned company has been planning for approximately two years to ditch Pixel.

According to a post shared by @AssembleDebug, a tipster, on X (previously known as Twitter), the latest versions and most other devices have already set the bare minimum Android version needed for their device from Android 10 to Android 12.
This change should primarily affect a small number of older Pixel 3XL devices, which also received an Android 12 final firmware update back in October 2021.
All of Google's hardware is adequately safe because the Personal Safety app designed for Pixels older than that hasn't been modified.
Those with older phones designed for particular apps may be the most severely impacted, although they may also be offline to avoid any error.
