Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event is just a few hours away, and the company has announced that it won’t be releasing some of its key Apple Intelligence features, as per a report.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that the tech giant made this decision recently and highlighted that Apple's AI push comes as Apple Intelligence is still not fully prepared.

ChatGPT integration in Siri delayed
Gurman revealed that some major Apple Intelligence features such as ChatGPT's integration within Siri and across the system will miss today's Apple event. The feature will be available later this year with iOS 18.2 release which is expected till December.
Furthermore, the AI features won't be available in the EU including countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, and Germany. However, China will also miss out on Apple Intelligence.
“Although AI is an exciting new field for technology enthusiasts, the vast majority of consumers are yet to be well-versed in it and won’t understand the need for AI," said Gurman.
"Many users won’t understand why they would even need Apple Intelligence, and it will take Apple several months to explain the benefits of the technology to them,” he further added.
Moreover, features including summarising notifications and web content, tools to improve writing, and a way to remove people or objects from images will only be able to be accessed after the iOS 18.1 software update rolls out in October.
Notably, Apple has also decided to postpone the release of the long-awaited AI-powered image generation features including Genmoji and Image Playground features that will now begin shipping in iOS 18.2, which is scheduled for release in December.
