Google kicked off its annual Made by Google on August 20 with a big bang, and the loudest drop was the new Pixel 10 linuep, very much in line with a plethora of rumours from some of the most credible tipsters out there.
The new Pixel 10 series entails four new modesl, namely the the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, each packed with a distinct array of improvements over their predecessor.
Key features of the Pixel 10 Series
First and foremost, the standard Google Pixel 10 comes equipped with a third rear camera, a 5x telephoto lens that promises “10x optical image quality” and “Super Res Zoom up to 20x.”

While it appears to be a remarkable innovation, the addition gets balanced with a slight compromise under the the main and ultrawide camera systems, as they have slightly lower specs compared to the Pixel 9.
The new Pixel phone offers a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera, taking a substantial dip in comparison to the Pixel 9’s 50MP and 48MP.
Dust-tight Pixel 10 Pro Fold: The strongest of the Pixel 10 family
For utmost protection against mishaps, unintended falls and water submersion, the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold is packed with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, bearing way more endurance than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. According to Google, the handset is “dust-tight”.
Pixel 10's AI-driven features
Given nearly every tech giant's obsession with artificial intellgence (AI), Google’s focus on AI in the Pixel 10 series outpaced the remaining areas.
New AI features like Magic Cue provide users with information tailored to the real-time use. For instance, the Pixel 10 fetches flight details when you call an airline. Similarly, on the camera front, Camera Coach brings tips to enhance your photography skills.
