Apple is reportedly working on the iPhone 17 series, comprising iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is expected to launch in September.

Ahead of its anticipated debut, a new leak has shed light on the frame design and internal components of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

iPhone 17 Pro Max to boast larger battery

In a blog post on Naver, a South Korean platform, tipster Yeux1122 shared renders of the iPhone 17 Pro Max's frame, which leaked the new aluminium chassis of the handset, which replaces the titanium material that Apple currently uses on its Pro iPhone models.

According to the tipster, this change will make the iPhone 17 Pro Max lighter and improve heat dissipation, but not without a trade-off.

The aluminium build of the purported handset will make it less scratch-resistant. On the other hand, a tipster claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature a larger battery.

Past reports hint at the inclusion of a battery with a capacity higher than 5,000mAh. The iPhone 17 Pro Max battery may also be encased in metal.

Notably, if rumours turn out to be accurate, the purported handset will become only the second iPhone to have such a component, following its implementation of the iPhone 16 Pro last year.

iPhone 17 Pro Max price

According to multiple reports and Apple's previous pricing patterns, the iPhone 17 Pro Max price could range between Rs350,000 and Rs400,000, depending on storage variants.

However, Apple has yet to officially reveal the pricing of the iPhone 17 Pro Max next month.
