Google is set to announce its Pixel 10 series at the Made by Google event on Wednesday, and the company has released another teaser which directly hints towards Apple’s Siri AI.
The new 30-second video not only promotes the upcoming phone, but could also be the start of a battle between Google and Apple in the AI smartphone space.
The Google Pixel 10 teaser, which is available on YouTube, uses humour and music to establish its case. The ad, which includes the beats of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s The Next Episode, points out the slow pace of the rollout of Siri by Apple.
The video says: “If you buy a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon… but it’s been coming soon for a full year… you could change your definition of soon, or you could just change your phone.”
This line clearly targets Apple while hinting that Pixel 10 buyers won’t have to wait around for promised features.
The Made by Google 2025 launch event in Brooklyn, New York, will showcase the Pixel 10 family of devices, along with new AI capabilities, accessories, and possibly a surprise announcement.
With competitors like Apple taking their time to roll out big AI updates, it seems Google is making a case for being the leader in smart features and faster rollout.
