Massively popular design platform Canva has been down around the world since earlier this morning, with thousands of Canva users taking to social media networks to report the inability to access the platform.

"There was an issue on our end," read the error message displayed on the Canva homepage, according to many Canva users.

The statement confirms that the disruption was caused by Canva’s internal servers, and not by any cyber attack or any external sources.

As per user complaints surfacing across social media platforms, not only have users been unable to access the platform, but also to load existing projects or use basic design features in case they luckily access the platform.

The worldwide Canva outage has also been acknowledged by the platform.

When will Canva outage resolve?

"We're on it! We're aware some people are having trouble accessing Canva. We're working as quickly as we can to get things back up and running. We really appreciate your patience," the company assured users in an Instagram story shared earlier in the day while confirming the blackout.

The Canva outage kicked in earlier on Monday and dramatically turned into a trending topic on social media, as users claimed to be struggling to get their work done.
