Samsung unveiled Home AI at CES 2025, an impressive array of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features for its advanced home appliances. This offering is part of the South Korean tech giant’s "AI for All" vision.
It is aimed to deliver a highly customised experience for users in shared living spaces. Home AI is capable of adapting to the diverse range of routines and lifestyles of several individuals living together.
Home AI utilises data from users’ habits to tailor services for every individual. Samsung underscored that the AI system learns from daily interactions, providing a streamlined user experience across connected smart devices. It integrates Samsung Knox Matrix for enhanced security that supports home appliances. The system leverages blockchain technology to protect users' data and devices from cyber threats.
This cutting-edge technology supports Samsung’s One UI operating system, ensuring enhanced interoperability across connected devices. Moreover, SmartThings, Samsung’s smart home platform, and Bixby Voice will enhance the connected experience, making it more smooth and intuitive for users.
However, the company has not officially announced the launch date of Home AI, nor the list of eligible devices. Despite this, the latest offering promises to reshape smart home technology by focusing on personalisation and robust security.
