Karachi traffic police, in partnership with Lok Suhayta, announced the launch of a faceless e-challan system from October 1, 2025.
According to the traffic police spokesperson, the purpose of this campaign is to give citizens complete awareness about the importance of traffic laws and the new, automated challan (ticketing) system.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sindh Information Department said: “This system is a practical step toward justice, transparency, ffand modern traffic regulation.”
How does faceless e-challan system work in Karachi?
Under this system, traffic violations will be recorded through CCTV cameras, and challans backed by photo or video evidence will be sent directly to the violator’s home, removing any room for roadside negotiations or discretionary enforcement.
The spokesperson noted this as a “revolutionary step” toward creating a safer and more organised Karachi.
