A major step forward in the two countries' bilateral relations is the impending introduction of e-visa and visa-on-arrival services for Pakistani nationals by Tajikistan.

This decision comes after senior Tajik officials and Sardar Yasir Ilyas, the Prime Minister's Coordinator on Tourism, met at a high level.

Both parties committed to strengthening their economic, trade, and tourism ties during the talks, and Tajik officials promised to cooperate on agricultural products through a system of barter trade.

Declaring, "The visit reflects the strong friendship between Pakistan and Tajikistan," Sardar Yasir Ilyas emphasised the two countries' close friendship while highlighting the objective of forging a lasting alliance and generating new business prospects.

It is anticipated that the implementation of visa-on-arrival and e-visa will streamline travel between the two nations, fostering trade and tourism.

This action is a component of a larger initiative to strengthen ties between Tajikistan and Pakistan, two countries with similar histories, cultures, and languages.

The development is an important step in enhancing bilateral cooperation and opening up fresh avenues for development and economic growth.

Pakistani nationals can anticipate easier travel to Tajikistan with the upcoming launch of the e-visa and visa-on-arrival services, which will strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
