Forthing Friday SUV debuts in Pakistan with hybrid power and premium tech

Capital Smart Motors has officially launched the Forthing Friday, a modern crossover SUV that promises a balance of performance, comfort, and innovation for Pakistan’s growing SUV market.

Notably, the car has a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with a 31.9 kWh battery, delivering a system's combined maximum output of 204 horsepower and 340 Nm torque.

The company claims the model can achieve up to 1,150 km of driving range on a full battery and fuel tank, which also provides 62.61 km/l of fuel economy under ideal conditions—making it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its class.

Inside the Forthing Friday, there is a push toward comfort and modern design — complete with a beige-themed interior design, a 14.6-inch infotainment display, and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. There is also support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, plus a wireless charger, electronic parking brake, and auto park assist feature for convenience.

Safety and driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Front Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a 360-degree camera system. The SUV also provides drivers the ability to switch driving modes (Eco, Standard, and Sport) and has modes for various terrain conditions.

The Friday is offered in three options — Luxury Rs8,999,000, Exclusive Rs10,499,000, and REEV Rs10,999,000 — to suit varying buyer personalities.
