As job markets worldwide have become saturated, narrowing the chances of even qualified individuals securing a job, Google has introduced a new tool called Career Dreamer to help job seekers find jobs.

Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the tool allows users to tap the vast expanse of job opportunities based on their education, skills and experiences across several career paths.

The search giant announced the rollout of Career Dreamer in a blog post.

What sets it apart from traditional job-discovery platforms like LinkedIn is that instead of offering direct links to job postings from companies, Career Dreamer provides job seekers with suggestions in line with their professional backgrounds.

On the sidelines of suggesting jobs best suited to one's qualifications, skillset and experiences, it also serves as an interactive guide for career planning.

Similar to other platforms for job finding, Google's AI assistant for job seekers asks them to create a career identity statement by adding their current and previous roles, education, skills, and interests.

Google claimed that users can also incorporate this career statement into their resume and can also use it to guide job interviews.

It is imperative to note that the AI-assisted tool is currently available in the US only, with the company planning to make it accessible worldwide.
