Google is working on a new feature that would allow gamers to create custom AI-generated avatars for their Play Store profiles.
Currently, users can only choose from a collection of pre-made avatars, but that may change soon with an AI-powered customisation tool.
Google Play Store update
Reportedly, Google Play Store version 44.9.19-29 revealed that Google may introduce an AI avatar generator. This tool would let users create a unique profile picture by selecting a character, background, and art style, much like Android’s AI wallpaper feature.
For example, you could set a futuristic city as the background, a dragon as the character, and a cartoon style to generate an avatar that fits your personality.
A small dice icon at the bottom of the avatar creation page suggested that Google would include a randomiser option for users who don’t want to make manual selections. This would generate an avatar automatically based on AI-powered suggestions.
At the time of writing, the AI avatar generator is not yet functional, indicating that Google is still developing the feature.
If launched, this tool could help gamers personalise their Play Store profiles and stand out with unique avatars.
Customising gaming profiles is an important aspect of online gaming, allowing players to express their personalities.
Google Play Store availability
Since this feature is still under development, it remains unclear when Google will roll it out. However, once available, it could make gaming profiles more engaging and interactive.
