Apple unveiled a pack of essential news after Google I/O previously. The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 striked off on June 10, and today Google announced information about the next Pixel feature drop.
These features are specifically designed to improve creativity, with the bulk adding to Pixel phones. Moreover, Pixel Watches is set to receive several high updates, involving a major safety feature for drivers and cyclists.

Pixel phone upgrades
The greatest news for this feature drop is that Gemini Nano is set to be added to Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a as a developer option. This is Google’s trimmed-down version of the Gemini AI, developed to run on users' devices without beaming their data to the cloud.
Moreover, Google is unleashing Display Port Support, which allows owners to output content to a secondary display through a USB-C cable. In addition, the company is ready to include a reverse phone number lookup feature, which allows users to figure out who is calling them directly from the phone app.

Pixel Cameras will also asset from enhanced HDR+ frame selection, automatically distinguishing the best moment with a single shutter click and purportedly ensuring “picture-perfect photos every time.”
Pixel Watch upgrades
The most essential features those are ready to be added to Pixel Watch 2 are Car Crash Detection and Bicycle Fall Detection. Bicycle Fall Detection is technically a spin of the Pixel Watch’s existing fall detection feature.
However, it has been modified to enhance the spot when you fall from a two-wheeled vehicle.
Moreover, PayPal support is officially unveiled to be added to Google Wallet on Pixel Watch. It allows users to buy items through their PayPal account. It was originally announced for US and German users. However, it has yet not cleared PayPal to be more extended.
In addition, the Google Home app on Wear OS 3 will provide more smooth Google Home support, along with a new Wear OS tile for the Google Home app, which allows users to immediately access their favourite smart home devices.
