What is Google Home app?
The Google Home app, a hub for controlling the smart home, helps users manage their smart devices, including the Nest speakers, smart displays, thermostats, and security cameras.
However, the Find My Device helps Android users detect and locate their missing Google devices, such as Pixel Buds or Chromebooks. It uses location data and signals to check where the device is located.
Originally meant to be placed under Google’s Find My Device banner, both the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 were mistakenly placed in the Google Home app.
Google revealed that the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 tiles have been removed and users are supposed to use the “Find My Device” app to locate devices.
Meanwhile, in other news, Google Home app users faced issues within the Activity feed and Settings tab on Friday afternoon; however, the company is rolling out a fix.
