iOS 18 has taken gaming to another level by introducing a dedicated Game Mode for the upcoming iPhone and iPad devices as announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024.
Game Mode automatically turns on by default when you connect your wireless controller to an iPad or iPhone and open the supported games. It was first introduced to Mac in 2023.
Game Mode in iOS 18 offers improved features such as maintaining high frame rates, improved Bluetooth controller and audio with AirPods that would provide a smoother and more immersive iPhone gaming experience in iOS 18.
