
In a bid to equip citizens with hands-on training and expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and data technologies, Google on Saturday organised a groundbreaking AI learning program in collaboration with Google Developers Group Kolachi (GDG Kolachi).
Held at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi, the initiative brought industry experts, seasoned mentors, and an expert-led community together under one roof, allowing participants to learn about AI, machine learning, data science, and similar disciplines.
“AI is shaping the future of technology, and with AI Seekho, we want to ensure that Pakistani professionals have access to world-class learning resources and mentorship. This initiative is a step towards creating an AI-driven workforce that can contribute to the global tech ecosystem,” said the GDG Kolachi team.
The Express Tribune reported that the event received an overwhelming turnout of over 100 attendees, including both quick learners and AI geeks.
"Karachi Walo AI Seekho", the event's theme, outlined the need for Karachiites to learn AI in an era witnessing huge leaps and bounds in the realm of AI.
"AI Seekho" is a Google Cloud programme allowing participants to learn a thoughtfully designed curriculum including hands-on training in skills essential to grasp the ever-evolving AI.
The session was conducted under the supervision of Arhum Ishtiaq, CTO and Co-founder of ConnectHear, and the GDG Kolachi team, offering participants practical knowledge and hands-on experience with AI and ML tools.
