The summit is set to come at a crucial time for Pakistan’s digital economy, which has been growing steadily, with over 195 million mobile subscribers and a rapidly increasing number of internet users.

Moreover, Pakistan boasts one of the largest freelance IT workforces in the world, contributing significantly to digital exports.

The Ministry of IT have focused on expanding 4G coverage, enabling 5G readiness, supporting local startups, and boosting IT exports, which reached over $3 billion in FY2023–24 in Pakistan.
