Recording a phone call on a Samsung Galaxy phone was once a difficult task as one needed to use third-party apps for this purpose.

However now, Samsung offers a built-in call-recording function in its latest phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Therefore you don't need a third-party app anymore.

Steps to record phone calls on Samsung phone

The call recording option only appears on an ongoing call. Follow the steps listed down.

  1. Open your Phone app and make a call.
  2. During the ongoing call, tap the three-dot option in the upper-right corner.
  3. Now, click on Record Call. The red dot indicates the call record time and status.
  4. Disconnect the call or click on the pause button at the top to stop the call recording.

The system automatically saves your recorded call in the internal storage and sends you a notification.

How to record calls using Google Voice

If you’re using Google Voice for making calls on a Samsung phone, follow these steps to record your call.

  1. Open the Google Voice app.
  2. Click on the menu in the upper-left corner and go to Settings.
  3. Turn on Incoming call options
  4. When you answer a call on your Google Voice number, open the keypad and tap 4 to start recording.

Participants will be informed about the call being recorded. Tap 4 to stop recording. You can find the voice clip in the Voicemail tab.
