
Huawei is rumoured to launch a brand-new notebook codenamed “Hi MateBook” sporting HarmonyOS soon.
According to a new leak, the company could display an official glimpse of its first computer-dedicated software later this month.
Huawei is said to have a large number of new products to be launched in October. The lineup counts the Nova 13 series, a MatePad 2024 tablet, and the Sound X4 speaker. Currently, a new leak teased towards a dynamic notebook that could be released by the end of October.
Taking to Weibo, a tipster @UncleKanshan noticed that Huawei has a new notebook in the pipeline called “Hi MateBook.” The device is expected to be launched later this month as a smart laptop.

Previously, the tipster reported that Huawei is working on a mysterious X project. The project is interconnected with Smart Selection PCs and may be released by October end. He further added that the tech giant may introduce a HarmonyOS notebook in the next six months.
It is important to note that Huawei Consumer Business Chairman Yu Chengdong hasn’t yet mentioned the accurate release time of HarmonyOS PC software. Meanwhile, he has only pointed out that the next-generation laptops won’t run on Windows but HarmonyOS software system.
Huawei's two launch events in October?
Additionally, tipster UncleKanshan shared that Huawei could host two launch events in October. The first one is expected to happen on October 15 and display the Nova 13 series, HarmonyOS NEXT system, and Watch Ultimate Green Edition. Meanwhile, the second one could happen on October 22 debuting, MatePad 2024 and the smart laptops.
