In a surprising event which represent the downtime of Apple, countless iMessage users on Thursday night reported a prolonged outage wherein they were unable to send and receive text messages or even access iMessage.

On the contrary, Apple’s System Status webpage doesn’t provide anything indicating any issues with its services till Thursday. In a follow up statement, however, the company announced that the issues was resolved.
