Instagram has officially launched a suite of new features for its Edits app. One of the new standout features on the platform is “Keyframes.”

The Meta-owned social media platform revealed that it is filled with a creative studio for video editors and content creators.

Taking to Instagram, the Creators account posted the update and stated: “You’ve been asking for Keyframes on Edits and we’re so excited to share that it’s finally here, alongside some other updates like new additions to the Ideas tab, voice enhancement, and even more text effects.”

Instagram update launches new features

Instagram has rolled out a Keyframe feature on its platform that will now animate their creator clips and videos' position, rotation, and scale with precise control.

Whether trying a subtle zoom or a dramatic rotation, Keyframes will allow for dynamic transitions and movements.

The feature will mark an exact moment on the timeline and then make the changes.

Notably, it comes with support for stickers, text, and overlays; however, users can expect the cutouts feature to be rolled out within the Keyframes.

Meanwhile, Instagram has introduced fresh text effects designed to grab attention. With over 30 new styles, including playful options like Fisheye, Arch, Cube, and Whirl, creators can add motion and flair to on-screen text.

Moreover, a noteworthy improvement is voice enhancement for voice-overs. With this latest update, creators can also tidy up voice-overs, ideal for anyone producing narrations, commentary, or tutorials.

The feature removes unwanted background noise, helping creators deliver clearer, professional audio without requiring extra software.

Instagram’s Ideas tab is also getting a thoughtful upgrade, as now, it provides more practical tools for planning content. Creators can save audio tracks they want to use later and even leave themselves sticky note-style comments to stay organised.

With the launch of these features, Instagram aims to help creators keep track of ideas and assets, particularly when juggling multiple projects or collaborating with others.
