KP govt introduces online traffic challan payment for public ease

In a significant step to transform the traffic system, special assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Science and Information Technology Dr. Shafqat Ayaz announced the launch of an online traffic challan payment system.

Ayaz said that through this modern system, citizens would no longer have to wait in long bank queues or visit offices to pay their traffic fines.

Notably, they would now be able to submit payments online, and the system would facilitate public and advanced transparency and efficiency in the government system.

According to the special assistant to the chief minister, the online challan system would improve government revenue, eliminate avenues for corruption and save citizens valuable time and resources.

With the launch of the online traffic challan payment system, the KP government aims to make advancements, provide e-governance, provide better services and modernise administrative processes.

He highlighted that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is fully committed to public service, transparency, and the vision of a Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This new initiative is a clear reflection of that commitment.

The special assistant also appreciated the efforts of the IT Department and the Police Department, stating that such innovative measures will pave the way for progress and development in the province.
