Marvel Rivals is a new team-based action game in which players fight with their favourite Marvel heroes and villains. NetEase has developed the game, combining quick gameplay, innovative powers, and iconic characters in a vibrant world.
The developers have now teased the mid-season update for Marvel Rivals Season 2, introducing thrilling new content and updates.
Marvel Rival's new Ultron character
NetEase has officially announced that Ultron will be added to the list of playable characters. The mid-season update will also see large balance updates, gameplay enhancements, and improved performance ratings.
Marvel Rivals Season 2, which began on April 11, saw a Krakoa-themed map based on Marvel's Hellfire Gala and included Emma Frost as a new Vanguard hero.
It also introduced new skins for Doctor Strange, Peni Parker, Winter Soldier, and Psylocke, providing players with further character customisation options.
According to Game Rant, NetEase explained that strategists will become more powerful with enhanced offensive capabilities.
Some heroes, such as Groot and Captain America, will be slightly easier to kill. Spider-Man's Amazing Combo will be slightly weaker, and Doctor Strange's skill will consume less energy.
However, the reasons behind these are to ensure battles become more thrilling and equitable for everyone.
Marvel Rival availability
Early access to Marvel Rivals will roll out soon, the beginning of the game's live-service updates. Gamers on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S are currently playtesting the game.
Players purchasing San Van Bucks, the in-game paid currency, during playtests will be able to transfer it into early access. NetEase and EA assert that these purchases enhance the game and will remain fair for everyone.
