A recent leak has provided a fresh look at the game’s development, as a former Rockstar Games employee revealed a demo reel, which includes early in-development footage of GTA 6.

The leaked demo reel displays specific animations that hint at returning and new features. One clip highlights a generic player character engaging with a bike rental station.
Moreover, the GTA 6 leak indicates major upgrades to vehicle interactions. Another clip features protagonist Lucia Caminos hopping off the roof of a pickup truck. It is expected that players will be able to ride in the bed of pickup trucks.
This feature could allow trucks to carry more passengers, significantly affecting GTA 6 and its online variant. It should be noted that the reel also included animations from Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, and Max Payne 3.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games is also expanding available activities, as players can expect new challenges like hunting and scuba diving alongside classic mini-games.
With protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval leading the story, fans are highly anticipating seeing how these features come together in 2026.
GTA 6 release date
GTA VI is an upcoming action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The developer company confirmed that GTA 6 is now scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
Earlier, the title was set to release on May 26, 2026 — after a long wait of 12 years — but the company delayed the GTA 6 release date.
