Nvidia, the leading chip maker in the realm of technology, is going to initiate the development of a lineup of chips that would ensure compliance with regulations set forth by the US government.
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said on Wednesday that the US-based regulatory framework oversees the exports of high-end chips to China.
The California-based artificial intelligence (AI) chip maker possesses more than 90% of shares in China's $7 billion AI chip market, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

However, analysts have claimed that stringent US rules and regulations for the outflow of AI chips are likely to pave the way for opportunities for Nvidia’s rivals, other Chinese chip makers.
While addressing a press conference in Singapore, Huang said, "Nvidia has been working very closely with the U.S. government to create products that comply with its regulations."
"Our plan now is to continue to work with the government to come up with a new set of products that comply with the new regulations that have certain limits," he added.
During its November earnings, the company had anticipated grave losses for the fourth quarter in sales within the Chinese market owing to the US regulations.
Last month, citing sources familiar with the matter, a Reuters report stated that Nvidia had informed customers in China to postpone the launch of a new AI chip it designed to comply with US export rules until the first quarter of next year.
The company is in talks with Singapore and discussing about potential big investments, the company CEO noted.
