OnePlus 12, which launched in China a day earlier, is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.
Global launch of OnePlus 12
Since the handset is an upgrade to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, which launched in India in February this year, the global and Indian launch of the OnePlus 12 will observe the same timeline soon, as per the confirmation conveyed by the company.
Including India, the company previously confirmed the global launch of the OnePlus 12, through the websites of the phone in the UK, US, and India. The websites now state that the phones are set to hit global markets in early 2024.

Although the India site does not offer an exact date of launch, the UK page, under the Terms and Conditions section of a contest, notes that the launch will take place in late January.
The confirmation of the official launch date aligns with what a tipster had earlier hinted at. The speculator had claimed that the phone would be launched globally in January 2024 with another model.

OnePlus camera features
When the rear camera setup of the device is looked at, the primary sensor of the OnePlus 12 is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 accompanied by optical image stabilisation (OIS) support, whereas it also brings a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens at the back.
Meanwhile, the phone gets a 32-megapixel sensor under the hood of its front-facing camera system to take selfies.
