Opera has integrated a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered feature that allows you to take action on tabs through natural language queries.

The feature is set to provide access to grouping, pinning, bookmarking, and closing tabs with the dedicated commands. The company said people can enable the Aria command bar — by pressing Ctrl + / or Cmd + / — and typing requests like “Group all video tabs” or “Bookmark all currently open tabs.”

Opera highlighted that the browser performs all the processing for these commands on the client side, which results in no data leaving the user’s device to understand what they mean.

Moreover, you can provide commands similar to specific sites or particular categories. Meanwhile, you could write “Close my YouTube tabs” or “Group all my shopping tabs.”

This tab control feature is claimed to be useful when you have hundreds of tabs available, even though forming tab groups won’t help you reduce the number of tabs open.

The company launched this feature on Thursday through its AI feature drop program integrated into its developer version of the browser.
