With the upcoming Season 10 release, Overwatch 2 developers are bringing in exciting new features and changes to the game. Set to launch on April 16 at 6pm EST UK time, the new season introduces a brand-new Damage hero named Venture, adding fresh dynamics to the gameplay.

The venture is described as a spirited archaeologist who brings a unique set of abilities to the battlefield, armed with a drill and seismic like Smart Excavator and Burrow, Venture promises to shake up the competition. With features like Drill Dash and the powerful ultimate tectonic shock, players can expect thrilling new strategies and gameplay experiences.

One of the most significant changes in the game is the availability of all the heroes to every player without the need for grinding levels or purchasing the Battle Pass. Completing the new player's experience unlocks all characters immediately, ensuring that every player can enjoy the full roster of heroes right from the start.

Additionally, Season 10 introduces limited-time game modes, starting with the Clash, the tug-of-war style mode challenging teams to capture points along a linear path. The Season also brings a “Mirrorwatch” theme, featuring a limited –time event set in a mirror universe where the heroes and villains switch roles and abilities.

Fans can also expect updates to maps like Watchpoint Gibraltar, which transforms as Talon takes over. Rewards in Season 10 include more coins per season, and the opportunity to pick the Mythic skin of their own choice.
