In line with its objectives related to nationwide digitisation, Pakistan has begun the development of a Super App and Web Portal to serve as a central hub for e-government services.
The e-portal will integrate offerings from federal ministries and provincial departments into a single, citizen-centric interface.
If the unified Super App (mobile application) and web portal come into existence, citizens and businesses will be able to easily access a wide range of public services and information.
Allowing conventional departmental systems to break free from isolation, this platform is believed to simplify service delivery, enhance user experience, and increase transparency and efficiency in government services and operations.
The National Super App & Web Portal initiative, established under Pakistan’s Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), has been designed to engage a qualified consultancy firm to design, customise, and implement a cutting-edge Super App platform along with a web portal.
This platform will function as a one-stop gateway for citizens and businesses to secure government services at both the federal and provincial levels.
The most essential objectives sought from the Super App initiative include delivering a citizen-centric, secure, and interoperable system that integrates with Pakistan’s national digital identity and data exchange layers.
Besides, the system will also support future sustainability features such as advertisements, subscriptions, and partner services.
