In line with the entire Pakistan celebrating the country's 78th Independence Day, search engine giant Google has been adorned with a special illustration to mark the occasion.
While tech titan is renowned for its frequenly changed creative doodles in celebration of cultural and social events around the world, this year’s doodle features Pakistan’s green crescent-and-star flag waving against a vast sky.
The doodle for 14 August symbolises the nation's pride, commemorating the spirit of freedom while gaining global attention.
It's worth noting that Google has been commemorating Pakistan’s Independence Day with customised doodles since 2011, starting with a green-themed design showcasing the crescent, star, and Minar-e-Pakistan.
As Pakistanis around the world celebrate their independence, Google’s doodle serves as a reminder of the country’s history and cultural significance, bringing people together in a moment of pride and reflection.
