Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 25% discount on tickets for the flights departing from Paris to Pakistan. Discount will be applied to all tickets purchased until August 31, 2025, for the travel period of August 25 to September 28, 2025.

The same discount will extend to passengers travelling on connecting routes with Air France throughout Europe and the United Kingdom, making travel even easier.

PIA confirmed it will end its Lahore to Paris service due to low passenger numbers, with the last flights scheduled for September 12 and 17. PIA will maintain the Islamabad to Paris route, continuing the connection with the capital of France.

Under its international growth objectives, PIA has also launched direct flights from Lahore to Baku, Azerbaijan. Flight PK-159 departed Lahore with 152 passengers.

Notably, a short ceremony at the airport heralded the launch flight, attended by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov, and senior officers from aviation authorities.

Asif stated at the event that the new route shows PIA is committed to building better relations with Azerbaijan and expanding tourism. He also observed the airline is returning to reasonable delivery patterns under reforms under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
