Poco officially confirmed the release date for its new tab — Poco Pad 5G in India. The company further hinted at the design and unveiled the display specifications of the forthcoming tablet.
The Wi-Fi-only version of the Poco Pad was disclosed in particular global markets this year.
The Indian variant of Poco Pad 5G is likely to feature similar specifications with its global counterpart.
Poco Pad 5G specifications
Flipkart claimed that the Poco Pad 5G will feature a 12.1-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 600 nits of peak brightness level. The screen will also be integrated with TÜV Rheinland triple certification.

However, no further details of the Poco Pad 5G have been confirmed. The variant sold internationally is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The tablet version runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
The Poco Pad 5G boasts 8MP cameras at the front and the back. It sports Dolby Atmos-backed quad speakers and a 10,000mAh battery supporting 33W wired fast charging. The tablet also comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
Poco Pad 5G release date in India
The release date of Poco Pad 5G is confirmed in India on August 23 at noon IST.
The tablet is rumoured to be available in blue colour variant, along with a keyboard and a stylus. It is to be noted that the global version of the Poco Pad was introduced in blue and grey shades.
The bottom edge of the tablet is expected to arrive with speaker grilles, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
