In today's world, not being able to afford your own house isn't uncommon. Snapchat, one of the popular photo and video sharing platforms, is set to launch a new paid feature using AR (augmented reality) following its successful launch of AI-generated upgrades, the ChatGPT-powered AI chatbot, and more.
This new update will allow Snapchat users to have their own 'Virtual House' by subscribing to a paid service.
Instead of the usual grey-coloured maps, paid users will have a variety of options ranging from simple houses to extravagant castles, which they can show off on the Snap Map to their friends.

- Seeing their pets alongside their Bitmoji in chats.
- A 'mirror' option on Snapchat that allows them to see themselves using the phone’s front camera.
- The ability to send snaps that expire within a short time period (maximum 10 seconds).
- New AI lenses that let users see themselves as a five-year-old.
