In today's world, not being able to afford your own house isn't uncommon. Snapchat, one of the popular photo and video sharing platforms, is set to launch a new paid feature using AR (augmented reality) following its successful launch of AI-generated upgrades, the ChatGPT-powered AI chatbot, and more.

This new update will allow Snapchat users to have their own 'Virtual House' by subscribing to a paid service.

Instead of the usual grey-coloured maps, paid users will have a variety of options ranging from simple houses to extravagant castles, which they can show off on the Snap Map to their friends.

Additionally, in the future, Snapchat premium users will gain access to a series of innovative features, including:

  1. Seeing their pets alongside their Bitmoji in chats.
  2. A 'mirror' option on Snapchat that allows them to see themselves using the phone’s front camera.
  3. The ability to send snaps that expire within a short time period (maximum 10 seconds).
  4. New AI lenses that let users see themselves as a five-year-old.
