Ticketmaster introduced today that it is set to be the first ticketing company to use Apple’s updated Apple Wallet tickets for iOS 18.

With the help of enhanced tickets, you will be allowed to view event information “such as a map of the venue and parking details, recommended playlists from Apple Music, local forecasts from Weather, and easy access to location sharing to help fans find their friends when they arrive,” Ticketmaster stated.

Moreover, venues and teams will be able to include links to their app or website. Beginning with iOS 18, Apple stated event tickets in the Wallet app on the iPhone can provide an all-new design that showcases key information, and Ticketmaster unveiled that it will be the first ticketing company to launch this advanced experience.

The revamped tickets are set to include more meaningful information about an event, like a map of the venue, parking details, recommended Apple Music playlists, local forecasts from the Weather app, and quick access to location sharing. Additionally, venues and sports teams can add links to their app or website to the ticket.

Ticketmaster claimed the first event that will provide its redesigned tickets in the Wallet app will be Los Angeles FC's upcoming match against the San Jose Earthquakes at BMO Stadium on Saturday, October 19.

iPhone users who have upgraded their smartphone to iOS 18 or later can include tickets to the Wallet app through the Ticketmaster or Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) apps.
