In a move to strengthen the security and safety of its platform, TikTok has deleted over 25 million videos in the second quarter of 2025, uploaded by users in Pakistan.
The exact number of videos is 25,448,992, and TikTok removed all of these because they were not in accordance with their Community Guidelines.
What's intriguing is how quickly TikTok took action, before any users even reported the videos, a staggering 99.7% of them were discovered and removed.
This indicates that the infractions were independently discovered by TikTok's automated systems.
The fact that 96.2% of the removed videos were removed within 24 hours of being uploaded is even more impressive.
These figures are taken from the Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report published by TikTok. The comprehensive report demonstrates how TikTok upholds its policies both in Pakistan and globally.
According to TikTok, the goal of these reports is to inform users. They hope to establish transparency and trust by disclosing the number of videos that are taken down and the reasons behind it.
The TikTok Transparency Centre has the complete report, which also contains data from previous quarters. It is easy for Pakistani users to understand, as it is available in both Urdu and English.
