Since there's tremendous number of rumours and reports emerging ahead of the release of an upgraded variant of iPhone SE, what drove the enthusiasm more is a recently surfaced claim on the internet.

Upcoming iPhone SE design

The previous two iterations of the iPhone SE utilised the older iPhone 8 design but featured updated A-series chips. However, according to the recent leak, it appears that the upcoming iPhone SE will adopt a similar aesthetic resembling the standard iPhone 15.

Of particular interest is the claim by the informant that the next iPhone SE will opt for a Dynamic Island instead of incorporating a notch. Additionally, there's speculation that the next iPhone SE might sport a vertical rear camera protrusion, akin to the rumoured design of the iPhone 16, Digital Trends reported.

However, this configuration would include a single primary camera lens instead of a dual system. Additionally, the vertical camera bump design would place the LED flash below the only camera lens.

However, the following information should be taken with some doubt as @MajinBuOfficial has a mixed track record with Apple rumours, although it appears that their leaked iPhone 16 design schematics are reportedly accurate.

Nevertheless, the source also mentioned that this iPhone SE information is not confirmed, and it is possible that Apple may have several iPhone SE prototypes in development.

Latest iPhone SE release date

The initial iPhone SE was released in 2016, followed by the second generation in 2020, and the latest iteration debuted in 2022. The projected timeframe for the next iPhone SE is set for 2025, which appears appropriate. However, this timeline is subject to change.

It would be beneficial if Apple avoided adding the notch in the iPhone SE series, as it hasn't garnered much praise. With the removal of the notch in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models, incorporating the Dynamic Island into the iPhone SE lineup would maintain a notch-free design across the iPhone range.
